I saw the asparagus in your eyes.

You screamed and moaned,
shook and quaked,
And in my arms you were
Vulnerable,
Vulnerable.
In this car you were
Vulnerable,
Vulnerable.

You twisted and curled,
blinked and waked,
And in this room you were
Vulnerable,
Vulnerable.
In your strength you were
Vulnerable,
Vulnerable.

Underneath the flesh,
after the heat,
Underneath yourself
laid beneath me
was the
Vulnerable,
Vulnerable.
